The Bachelor's degree at the "Haute École de gestion de Genève" can be completed in French or a bilingual (German/French) version. The consecutive master's course is only offered in French.

Bachelor's Course

The bachelor's course offers comprehensive training in all areas of information and documentation. Graduates of this course work in archives, libraries, documentation centres, administration or as a webmaster. The 6-semester course can be completed as full-time (3 years) or part-time (4 – 4.5 years) study. A French or a bilingual (German-French) course is available. The course concludes with a bachelor thesis.

Degree:
Graduates receive the title "Bachelor of Science HES en information documentaire" or after completion of the bilingual version the title "Bachelor of Science HES en information documentaire (études bilingues française-allemand)".

Master's Course

The consecutive master's course is a part-time course and is aimed at people who have a bachelor’s degree in information and documentation. It lasts 4 semesters with school two to three days per week. The course provides two majors and is rated at 90 ECTS. Specific topics in information literacy are included in Méthode de recherché. The Master’s  course is completed with a Master’s thesis.

Degree:
Graduates of the course receive the title "Master of Science HES en information documentaire".
